Grayson County commissioners are set on Tuesday to sign off on a batch of annual software renewals that together run past $600,000, led by a $413,349.39 payment for the computer system the county's courts use.

The Commissioners Court meets at 10 a.m. Oct. 13 in the commissioners courtroom in Sherman. Its agenda lists the Tyler Technologies payment for "Enterprise Justice Software-Courts & Justice" as a separate bill, along with $90,672.39 to the same company for its Munis financial system. County Auditor Suzette Smith is presenting both.

Those renewals from eight vendors add up to about $618,000 on this week's list.

Other payments

The court is also set to authorize $61,245 to the Regional Public Defender for Capital Cases for its fiscal 2027 interlocal allocation. The office's invoice, dated Oct. 1, comes from its Lubbock headquarters.

A separate item would pay $779,277.44 to the Texas Association of Counties Health & Employee Benefits Pool for October, covering county employee health and dental coverage according to the claims report.

The full claims report runs 61 pages and lists payments from the general fund, the North Texas Regional Airport fund and other county accounts. Residents can speak on agenda items for up to three minutes by turning in a request card to the clerk before the meeting begins.
