Van Alstyne Public Library’s Teen Advisory Board gives young people ages 13–18 a role in shaping library programs. Members can suggest ideas, provide feedback and earn volunteer hours, according to a notice shared by Van Alstyne High School.
The library’s calendar lists the next board session for Thursday, Oct. 8, from 4 to 6 p.m. Another is scheduled for Oct. 22 at the same time.
The initial application window closed Sept. 14. Families seeking information about future participation can contact the library at 903-482-5991 or visit its website. The library is at 151 W. Cooper St.
The board is a library program, separate from Van Alstyne ISD.
