Fall Festival will take place tomorrow, Oct. 3, at Van Alstyne Junior High despite uncertainty about the timing and extent of possible showers and storms, according to the city’s announcement.
The event is scheduled to be held outside in the parking lot behind Van Alstyne Junior High, as originally planned, if the rain clears. If rain and storms affect the festival, it will move inside the junior high.
A final decision about whether the festival will be held indoors or outdoors will be made by noon tomorrow. That decision will be communicated through district channels.
The announcement said the festival will happen at Van Alstyne Junior High regardless of the final location. Families were told that the remaining question is whether the event will be held inside or outside.
