A student-athlete at Crandall High School was transported by helicopter to a hospital after suffering an injury during practice on Wednesday, according to Crandall Independent School District (ISD). The district announced that a medical helicopter landed near the school's baseball fields to assist with the transport.

Crandall ISD expressed concern for the student and their family, requesting that the community respect their privacy during this difficult time.
