Butler emphasized his strong performance during his time with the Cowboys, noting that he had never allowed a touchdown in either preseason or regular season play, nor a pass over 20 yards. He recorded six tackles during the preseason and, over three seasons, accumulated 26 tackles, five pass deflections, and one sack.
However, his playing time was limited due to an ACL injury that kept him out for the entire 2023 season.
