The Dallas Cowboys have completed their roster cuts, reducing the team from 91 players to the mandated 53 in preparation for the 2026 NFL season. This announcement precedes their season opener in East Rutherford, as the team also works to finalize their practice squad.

Head coach Brian Schottenheimer described the roster cut process as particularly difficult this year, emphasizing the depth and talent within the team. The Cowboys' initial roster features three quarterbacks, three running backs, and six wide receivers, along with a diverse group of players across defensive and special teams positions.

The roster includes notable players such as Dak Prescott, Javonte Williams, and CeeDee Lamb, among others. Additionally, the team has placed several players on injured reserve or the physically unable to perform list, including linebacker Marist Liufau and cornerback Devin Moore. More roster adjustments are expected as the Cowboys finalize their preparations for the upcoming season.
