The Texans had six players unavailable at Wednesday’s practice, including five because of injuries. Trent Brown was listed with knee and wrist issues, while Jadeveon Clowney had a knee injury and Nico Collins was dealing with a hamstring problem. Jake Hummel and Ed Ingram each missed practice with a groin injury.

Dalton Schultz was absent for rest. Collins injured his hamstring during the previous week’s practice and did not play in the Texans’ Week 2 loss to the Bengals. No additional information was provided about the other injuries.

Three defensive players participated on a limited basis. Will Anderson Jr. was given a rest day, and Logan Hall and M.J. Stewart were limited by knee issues. Reed Blankenship, a safety, and Wade Woodaz, a linebacker, were listed with thumb injuries but practiced fully.
