Houston Texans coach DeMeco Ryans said Nico Collins and Ed Ingram could be available for the Week 4 game against the Dallas Cowboys after sitting out the previous two contests. The team is hopeful both will be ready for Sunday’s matchup.
Collins, a Pro Bowl receiver and three-time 1,000-yard player, has been absent as Houston has had difficulty generating outside passing production. Dalton Schultz has been the primary exception. Xavier Hutchinson recorded nine receptions for 120 yards over the last two games. In a game against the Buffalo Bills, Collins had seven receptions totaling 75 yards and scored a touchdown.
Ingram’s absence moved Wyatt Teller into the starting right guard role. Houston has produced 130 rushing yards and one rushing touchdown during the past two games. Defensive end Jadeveon Clowney, who has missed two games with a knee injury, is still considered week-to-week.
The Texans had five sacks and caused two fumbles in their previous game despite missing players on the edge. The game is scheduled for noon at Reliant Stadium. Sports.yahoo.com reported the update Sept. 28, 2026.
