Caden Powell, a native of Waco and former player at Baylor, is returning to the basketball team for the 2026-27 season following a court injunction in Ohio. Previously, Powell played for Wyoming and Rice before joining Baylor last season, where he transitioned from a backup center to a starter due to team injuries.
This season's Baylor roster is evolving, with head coach Scott Drew aiming to create a deeper lineup to withstand a full season and compete effectively.
