The Houston Texans could have their established starting right tackle available for Sunday’s Week 3 matchup with the Indianapolis Colts. Trent Brown returned to practice Thursday after missing the previous session, while wide receiver Nico Collins continued to be absent.

Collins has now missed two practices this week and four straight sessions since suffering his injury. The available report gave no further information about his status.

Brown has been listed with wrist and knee injuries and has started both of Houston’s regular-season games. The team chose him for the starting role after Braden Smith sustained a preseason foot injury that put him on injured reserve for the season’s first four weeks. Brown has been credited with eight pressures, four penalties and one sack through two games.

Blake Fisher and Nate Thomas are listed as the Texans’ other tackle options behind Brown. Fisher was a second-round selection in 2024, and Thomas joined Houston in a trade completed during roster cutdowns. Brown’s participation gives Houston a potential return to its regular right-tackle starter for the Colts game.
