The Dallas Cowboys have completed their roster adjustments to comply with the NFL's 53-player limit, resulting in several noteworthy cuts. Among those released were second-year running back Jaydon Blue and quarterback Joe Milton III, who had performed well during the preseason. Former second-round pick Sam Williams was also waived, following challenges in regaining form after an ACL injury.

In response to these changes, the Cowboys claimed running back Emari Demercado off waivers and signed offensive tackle Wanya Morris. Many of the players who were cut have been retained on the practice squad, which now includes a mix of rookies and veterans. Notable members of the practice squad are Israel Abanikanda (RB), Jordan Hudson (WR), and Tommy Dunn (DT).

Several players showcased their skills during the preseason, with wide receiver Jordan Hudson and defensive tackle Tommy Dunn earning recognition for their performances. Linebacker Justin Barron and Reddy Steward also made significant contributions, particularly on special teams and in coverage.

Some players who were released have found new opportunities with other teams. Julius Wood joined the Miami Dolphins, while guard Trevor Keegan signed with the Minnesota Vikings. Jaydon Blue and others have also signed with practice squads of different NFL teams, marking a new chapter in their careers.
