Early Offense Sets Tone
The Brewers established a commanding lead in the opening frame, scoring twice on consecutive home runs. Jackson Chourio opened the bottom of the first inning with a 396-foot shot to center field. William Contreras followed with a 409-foot blast to left, extending Milwaukee's advantage to 2-0.
The home team added another run in the second inning when Lorenzo Lara singled to center, allowing Juan Soto to score before Lara was thrown out stretching at second. This early burst gave the Brewers a 3-0 lead that they would maintain for the majority of the game.
Rangers Strike Back
Texas answered in the fifth inning when Joey Freeman connected on a 388-foot home run to left center, narrowing the deficit to 3-1. The Rangers managed to add one more run in the eighth inning, but it was not enough to overcome the early deficit.
The Brewers' pitching staff limited the damage after the initial runs, with Shane Drohan recording the win despite allowing six hits over five innings. Drohan struck out six batters while walking one, giving up just one earned run in his start.
Relievers Seal Victory
Milwaukee's bullpen took over in the later frames to protect the lead. Chad Patrick pitched 2.1 innings, allowing one hit and two earned runs while walking one and striking out one. Antonio Senzatela pitched 0.2 innings, allowing one hit with no earned runs.
