A Dominant Performance
The decisive factor in the Friday contest was the pitching of Milwaukee Brewers right-hander Logan Henderson. The veteran starter took the mound at American Family Field and delivered a masterclass, allowing just one hit over seven full innings. Henderson retired 20 of the first 21 batters he faced, striking out seven while walking none. His efficiency kept the Texas Rangers offense in check, limiting them to a single run despite their efforts to generate contact.
Scoring Sequence
The Brewers established an early lead in the bottom of the first inning. Luis Urías grounded out to shortstop, allowing Juan Soto to score, followed by a double by Christian Yelich that brought in another run. The Rangers responded in the top of the third when Josh Jansen hit a 395-foot home run to left field, cutting the deficit to two. However, Milwaukee regained momentum in the sixth inning when a single by Hamilton allowed Mitchell to score. In the seventh, another Contreras single brought in Bauers. The Brewers extended their lead in the eighth inning with a single by Chourio that scored Frelick, followed by a sacrifice fly from Contreras that brought home Hamilton to make it 6-1.
