Fall Der All is coming back to historic downtown Van Alstyne a week from Saturday.

The city's Parks and Recreation department is staging the festival on Saturday, Oct. 10, running 10 a.m. until 4 p.m., centered on the 100 block of South Main Street, according to an online event listing (allevents.in) that reproduces the department's announcement; the city's own news page confirms the date.

The city is promoting the date on its news page with a video titled "Fall Der All Returns to Downtown VA October 10th!"

Organizers are advertising more than 100 vendors, along with carnival rides, a petting zoo and food trucks. Shopping at local businesses is billed as part of the day.

Two acts are booked: Double Vision, a tribute band built around the music of Foreigner, and the Jake Wofford Band.

Vendor registration closed Sept. 30. Questions about the festival go to the city's Kandi Hessel at khessel@cityofvanalstyne.us or 430-262-9439.
