The Friends of the Van Alstyne Library will hold its fall book fair Oct. 22–24 at Grayson College’s South Campus, 1455 W. Van Alstyne Parkway.
Shopping begins with a preview night from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 22. Entry that evening is $5, and the event flyer advertises coffee and desserts. Book-resale scanners will not be allowed during the preview.
The fair continues from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Friday, Oct. 23, and from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday, Oct. 24.
The flyer says proceeds support the Van Alstyne Public Library and that shoppers may pay with cash or credit cards. It does not list individual book prices.
The city library’s website has the current flyer and identifies the sale as its October 2026 book fair. The venue is the college’s South Campus, separate from the library building on West Cooper Street.
