Sherman is about 15 miles north of Van Alstyne. A free flu vaccination event is planned for Oct. 8 at Evangel Temple Church in Wichita Falls, giving participants the option to receive a shot without leaving their vehicles.
The clinic will be held at 3800 Barnett Road and will operate from 9 a.m. until 1 p.m. Each person who attends is also expected to receive a goodie bag at no cost. The vaccination service and gift are part of the event’s arrangements.
KFDX and Texoma’s Fox are organizing the clinic. Members of both stations, including members of their news teams, will be available during the event. No additional details were provided.
