Baylor's Nate Bennett is scheduled to make his second straight start Saturday against Louisiana Tech, while DJ Lagway will miss another game with an ankle injury. ESPN.com reported the update.
Bennett threw for 314 yards and accounted for four touchdowns in Baylor's game against Prairie View A&M last week. He also had two interceptions. Lagway, a transfer from Florida, suffered the injury in Baylor's season-opening loss to Auburn and missed the Prairie View A&M game after being listed as doubtful for the Louisiana Tech matchup.
Louisiana Tech will also change quarterbacks. Blake Baker, the Bulldogs' starter, is unavailable because of a hand injury, putting Trey Kukuk in line to start against Baylor.
