The Dallas Cowboys organization has finalized a three-year agreement with tight end Brevyn Spann-Ford. His agent, Mike McCartney, confirmed the deal via social media on Thursday. Under the new terms, Spann-Ford will remain with the franchise through the 2029 season.
Spann-Ford was originally an undrafted free agent who joined the league in 2024 after playing for Minnesota. He has appeared in all 34 games played by Dallas since entering the NFL. His performance allowed him to become the team's second tight end, a role previously held by Luke Schoonmaker.
During his time with Dallas, Spann-Ford recorded 18 receptions for 178 yards and one touchdown. He has participated in 25.5 percent of the team's offensive snaps over the last two seasons. Last year alone, he played in 357 special teams games. Before this extension took effect, he was scheduled to earn $966,666 for the current campaign while becoming a restricted free agent in 2027.
McCartney did not disclose specific financial details or the average annual value of the contract.
