SMU will welcome Clemson, NC State, Georgia Tech and Stanford to its 2027 home football schedule, while opening the season against Oklahoma at AT&T Stadium. The Mustangs are also scheduled to visit Cal, Virginia, Boston College, Pittsburgh and Duke for five ACC road games.
The nine-game conference schedule will be SMU’s second under the ACC’s current format, which requires nine league games and at least 10 contests against Power Four opponents each season. The ACC said game dates and the complete 2027 schedule are expected in late January.
Under coach Rhett Lashlee, SMU is 15-2 in ACC play and has not lost a conference game at Gerald J. Ford Stadium. That record is the best among ACC programs during the span.
