Daniyal Robinson's second season as North Texas men's basketball coach will begin with a four-game home stretch, starting Nov. 2 against Southwest Christian. McNeese follows Nov. 5, then Santa Clara visits Nov. 11 and South Alabama comes to the Super Pit on Nov. 14. McNeese and Santa Clara reached the 2025-26 NCAA Tournament, while South Alabama appeared in the NIT.
The Mean Green's first road game is scheduled for Nov. 20 at App State in Boone, North Carolina. North Texas will also play in Idaho Falls, Idaho, during the Snake Rivers Invitational, which runs Nov. 27-29. Drake, North Dakota State and Boise State are listed as opponents there. Three NCAA Tournament teams and two NIT teams from the previous season are included in the schedule.
The final six nonconference games return the team to Texas, including Bradley on Dec. 4 and Mississippi Valley State on Dec. 6. Texas State is scheduled for Dec. 13 at Dickies Arena in Fort Worth during the Coast-to-Coast Challenge, the program's second straight appearance in the event. Winthrop, Bethune-Cookman and the University of the Southwest will visit Dec. 16, Dec. 20 and Dec. 22, respectively.
