Van Alstyne, Texas — Gas prices in the Sherman-Denison area averaged $3.5810 per gallon for regular unleaded on July 30, 2026, according to AAA, down from $3.6060 yesterday. That is down from $3.6720 a week ago and higher than $3.1190 a month ago.
The statewide average in Texas stands at $3.6430, while the national average is $4.0980. Drivers in the Sherman-Denison area are paying below the state average and below the national average.
