Decisive Moment in Extra Innings

The Houston Astros secured a 7-5 victory over the Detroit Tigers on Sunday, June 28, 2026, thanks to a critical power surge in the 10th inning. Christian Walker provided the decisive blow, launching a three-run home run to left field that extended Houston's lead and ultimately sealed the win at Comerica Park.

Walker’s homer came after Paredes had already singled to right field, driving in Peña to make it 4-3. Although Torkelson later homered to right center for Detroit, scoring Greene to make it 7-5, the Tigers could not complete the rally.
