Elevate Clean & Co. has launched a donation drive in Van Alstyne to assist military families with back-to-school needs. The initiative, titled Backpacks for Heroes’ Kids, aims to provide essential items to students before the start of the academic year.

Owner Ashley Ashby discussed the partnership on the local program Talk of the Town. She stated that the effort extends beyond simple material collection, emphasizing community support for those serving in the armed forces. According to Ashby, every contribution helps reduce stress for military households and reminds them of local care.

The business reports that the drive has already gathered nine backpacks along with a significant quantity of other school supplies. These items are intended to help local students feel prepared and confident as they return to class.

Donations are currently being accepted at the Van Alstyne Fire Department, located at 280 North Preston Avenue. The collection period runs through September 1. Ashby expressed gratitude to residents who have already donated or shared information about the drive, noting that the effort is still ongoing.

The Backpacks for Heroes’ Kids School Supply Drive is organized by Elevate Clean & Co. as part of its Elevate Gives Back program. The business specializes in commercial and post-construction cleaning services in the region.
