The Van Alstyne City Council is reviewing a request from property owners identified as SOLARA regarding a parcel of + 176 acres. The land is located on the north side of FM 121, east of Hackberry Road. The developers are seeking voluntary annexation into the city limits. They also request a zoning change to a Planned Development District with an underlying SF-65 Single-Family Residential District designation. This classification would authorize a single-family residential development on the site.
